Dell attendant: "Good afternoon, my name is Aline, how can I help you?"
Me: "Good afternoon Aline! So, I was living my life, sitting at the computer, when suddenly I start hearing a noise like: 'FSSSS', like air escaping from an aluminum can, you know? And then I got nervous, right, because I thought it was my new gamer desktop PC that was exploding or something, but then I looked at the floor, and it was actually the POWER SUPPLY of my Dell notebook charger that was making the noise. Not only that but it was also releasing a substance that I don't know if it was a voluminous white liquid or a very thick white smoke, which was slowly spreading across the floor..."
[Long conversation about mysterious charger incident ensues]
Aline: "I understand Vinícius. I was talking to the technical team now, and given your charger version, there's absolutely no liquid inside it that could have leaked."
Me: "..."
Aline: "..."
Me: "Aline this is kind of strange"
Aline: "Yeah Vinícius"

October! First complete month in Brazil. What to say?
In general, everything's fine! Working a lot, finishing the PhD, being nerdsniped here and there between Tokimeki Memorials and Baldur's Gate 3. Reuniting with friends, getting my health in order, watching movies with my parents... I have little to complain about. It was the typical month I spent in Brazil before traveling: 99% of the time in my room, working or tinkering with my personal projects. And honestly? I can't stand being here anymore!! I spend so much time at the computer that my wrists started hurting!! My body is asking for help!! Look at the photos on the side of this page -- I don't even have a proper photo to show!! I'm going to start going to the gym in November now, but I don't know if it will solve all my problems -- the fact is I was used to a type of routine in Spain (read: commuting every day to work with friends and living with silvia) and now I have a completely different type of routine (read: staying at home all day and living with my parents). Meeting my friends was great but at the same time it made me sad for not being able to do it more often. I feel like something is going to explode soon, and I can't wait. But other than that everything's fine!
Echoes of the Eye so good tho...
